Preparation
The following three items should be prepared before the lesson:
1.Electronic device (PC, tablet, or smartphone)
2. Microsoft Teams account
3. A stable internet connection
Steps to take lessons
Step1: Create Microsoft Teams account
Download Microsoft Teams and open an account before signing up as a member.
Step2: Sign up for Yes Taiwan
Enter the required information (Microsoft Teams ID, etc.) to sign up as a member (takes 1-2 minutes).
Step3: Join FREE Consultation before the lesson
Before the first lesson begins, we offer a free Chinese learning consultation session. We will schedule lessons according to your needs and the teacher’s availability.
Step4: Create a PayPal account
Open a PayPal account. You’ll need to register your credit card information, so please have your credit card handy. Note that this step is only required if you don’t already have an active PayPal account.
Step5: Buy YT Points
Purchase the number of points you want using PayPal.
Step6: Contact us and we will book the course for you.
After purchasing points, please notify us. We will immediately schedule your classes and provide the meeting link for your sessions.
If you need to cancel a booked class, please do so at least three hours before the scheduled time by logging into your confirmation email or the booking system. You may also contact us directly to cancel the class.
Step7: Contact your teacher via Microsoft Teams
After we book your lesson, you’ll be sent a confirmation email. The teacher’s Microsoft Teams ID will be included in the email, so please send a contact request to the teacher via Microsoft Teams before your scheduled lesson. Please also send a message with your Microsoft Teams contact request. If you do not send a message, the teacher will not be notified.
Step8: Take your lesson
Please be ready before your scheduled class time, log in using the meeting link we provide, and begin your enjoyable Chinese learning journey with your teacher!
How to arrange my class
Before you start learning Chinese, please make an appointment with the free Chinese learning consultation session. During the 15 minutes, the teacher will be able to determine your Chinese level and get to know your specific learning needs. We will arrange the most suitable Yes Taiwan Chinese teacher for you and schedule lessons according to your needs and the teacher’s availability.
Our team of professional teachers have the skills necessary to instruct anyone at an extremely high level, but they need to first understand you and your needs.
About Curriculum and materials
We customize our curriculum and lesson plans to best suit each student’s needs. This customization gives them the greatest opportunity to not only succeed but to also better enjoy studying the language.
